The BLESSED TRINITY tells us that there are two absolutely distinct (yet inseparable) kinds of existence:

There is only ONE ETERNAL LIFE (God); and everything, from a lump of coal to and angel, is part of that God Life.

There are THREE ETERNAL PERSONS (and countless created persons) that share, but are not part of, the God Life.

[What we call our “person” is really a temporary ego FORM OF LIFE; the PERSON that lasts is not part of this form.]

FOR GOD, there is absolutely no evil or death; in other words, there is absolutely no separation.

FOR US, we ALL believe in separation. We believe in evil and death—that is what makes us all sinners.

SALVATION is when everyone on earth (by faith) comes to accept God’s will that there is no separation (evil or death).

“EVIL” (any real separation or death) can ONLY be created by creatures—it is ALWAYS artificial.

SIN is the belief in separation. Evidence of separation is so strong, “original sin” is inevitable—but, then, we create more.

EVIDENCE (“SACRAMENT”) of God’s will is absolutely necessary for us to believe that all is ONE/GOOD.

JESUS IS SAVIOR because, by bleeding for all and rising, he gives evidence that there is no eternal separation.

THE CHURCH is the Body (and the Mother) of Christ in his Second Coming on earth (sacramentally).

[NOTE: Whatever we say of Mary in his First Coming, we can say of ourselves (the Church) in his Second Coming.]

I don’t know about you, but I always had trouble distinguishing the difference between Faith and Hope. I might be wrong, but I think the distinction for most people is very fuzzy. I finally discovered a very clear understanding that, although there is something the same, there is something very distinct between Faith and Hope.

FAITH is what I decide to BELIEVE is happening RIGHT NOW with this one God Life and the persons that share it.

HOPE is what I decide to BELIEVE will be the consequences IN THE FUTURE of what is being done RIGHT NOW.

LOVE (Charity) is what (based on my Faith and my Hope) I decide to DO RIGHT NOW.

SERENITY is what we can rest assured remains constant and guaranteed about this life in the Trinity.
